Your Handy Dandy Guide to New Years’ Resolutions

With the New Year just around the corner, it has come to my attention that people don’t know how to pick New Year’s resolutions. It can be hard to decide how you need to better yourself. You, as you are well aware, are perfect in every way and have no major issues that need fixed.

There are, however, those minor things that seem to irk people.

For those having difficulties figuring out a resolution, I have created the following chart. Take this and ask your friends if you have any of the listed negative adjectives. If they say yes, refrain from punching them and look to see what your coordinated resolution should be.

It’s all very simple! Now you can go into 2012 with a resolution intact. Enjoy!

  1. Other than the Liquor store receipts, I think I’m a drunk…funny thing is I don’t remember drinking anything harder than the occasional Red Bull. I guess that is probably why I really need a support group. Thanks for explaining why I forget all the time and run my car through the garage. That explains some of my blog posts too.

  2. So that’s why people won’t stand next to me. I thought it was because they thought I was bent on world domination. I’ll mull it over while I finish off the six pack. Wait, I’m too lazy to go get it. Thanks for the info.

  3. Basket weaving sounds good to me – for the basket cases! 🙂

Glad you’ve survived Freshly Pressed to write another post! A blog-friend of mine got over 800 comments when he was FP’d as the WordPress people had gone off for a long weekend away from WordPress and his post stayed there for days. It’s a weekend, so you may be in for more comments on your last post too! Hope you don’t get overwhelmed. (I love your responses to some of the comments on it.)

    • This is my third time to be Freshly Pressed and the long weekend thing is definitely different. Instead of being hit with emails all day for one day, I’ve had four, going on five, days of 400+ emails. It’s a lot easier to keep up with when the only people reading my blog are family and friends.

Thanks for reading another post. It is very much appreciated. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve a few more comments to respond to on my last post.

  4. 😀 LOL! Frank and True and Funny! 🙂 I was thinking, for those who have difficulties making a resolution, why not start from the resolutions of 2011? That might be a good enough start since it would mean two things – making a resolution and doing the things we put away in pending. 🙂
Thanks for following my blog, Nathan, nice to meet you! 🙂
    Happy New Year!

  5. Except the world domination thing, that list reads more like a description of my inner circle of friends and the only resolution I have any interest belongs to lenses.

    Happy New Year, Badley!
